South Beach 2012 Conference

South Beach, Miami – the heart of the nation’s Hispanic food scene – provided a beautiful backdrop for Shopping for Health’s supermarket dietitian conference, held there April 22 – April 24, 2012. RDs and consumer affairs advisors representing almost 12,000 individual grocery stores in 44 states and Mexico attended the meeting, and enjoyed outstanding meals and presentations. (And of course, the beach!)

Shopping for Health supermarket dietitian conferences offer grocery store RDs and consumer advisors an avenue to learn more about the food products they serve, with nutrition information, recipes, and ideas on how to better serve their shoppers. Food companies have the opportunity to present product news and updates, as well as to network with the supermarket dietitians who interact directly with shoppers, right at the point of purchase. New data and research on consumer shopping trends also provides valuable insight into coming trends. Everyone enjoys the networking and the meals prepared by top South Beach chefs.
